The Birdie Jacket - (the most thrashed of the bunch)
Each Birdie Jacket begins as a vintage workwear piece that is completely deconstructed, sanitized, and rebuilt using a pattern I made and refined over months and months to create the most flattering lines possible from a rugged piece.
Birdie Jackets are lined in a light wool cashmere blend that feels soft and never itchy. The slightly cropped silhouette highlights the original fabric while giving it a modern, sculpted shape. The back has a pleated panel for a subtle balloon effect, pinch pleats, and a navy velvet bow. Sleeves are flared with a barrel pleat, inspired by everyone’s favorite jeans. If the original jacket had a zipper, it has been cut down and reworked into the new pattern.
What once lived a life of hard work is now ready for a life of pure glamour.
